2007 Older Americans Month Campaign
The Alaska Commission on Aging decided to use posters for this years advertising campaign for Older Americans Month. The posters were sent to senior and community centers throughout Alaska to raise awareness and to honor older Alaskans in conjunction with the national campaign to recognize and celebrate May as Older Americans Month. Please contact your local senior or commuity center to see what events are planned for your area. This year Governor Palin designated May as "Older Americans Month in Alaska". 2006 Older Americans Month Campaign
The Alaska Commission on Aging has implemented an advertising campaign throughout Alaska's newspapers to raise awareness and to honor Older Alaskans in conjunction with the national campaign to recognize and celebrate May as Older American's Month.
